We did send out a statement when the Groenewald's played their final card which we were waiting on for over 3 months. Our concern is the clients who have been affected by their behaviour and we once again apologise to the clients and we want to reassure you that we have launched our legal assault on the Groenewald's who will be held to account. 

 

We will be updating this page as BOTH our civil case and criminal case progresses. They have run into a group where they had no idea the extent of our resources and the extent of what we will do to clean up this industry. 

 

We will expose corruption at every level, our mandate since we launched The Tactical Nation was we wanted to bring change to this industry for the good of the consumer. Eradicating these bottom feeders forms part of that.

 

We make an appeal to all clients still being affected to please reach out to The Tactical Nation, we have resolved 12 clients already and we will continue to ensure we keep clients as safe as possible in terms of the money they paid The Gun Safe. We will not allow clients to be out of pocket.

Collectively may be referred to as leeches as their parasitical behaviour reflects that of a leech.

OUR STATEMENT PRIOR TO READING

The Tactical Nation takes no joy from revealing the truth which will include sensitive information. Unfortunately the Groenewald's took the decision to threaten our group with the Gutter Journalists of South Africa in Carte Blanche who fabricated a story to ensure these leeches came out looking innocent and harmed. 

 

This is ludicrous and we will expose ALL in a court of law, we will document the journey on this website and we will ensure every individual complicit in this corruption is held to account. 

 

This is the firearms industry and we are disrupting it and will continue to disrupt this industry.  The monopoly that exists extends far and wide from control of retail pricing, control of professional training bodies to "famous" attorneys.

 

WE DO NOT CARE WHO THEY ARE.

 

Our goal is to ensure that pricing in this country changes, that corruption is ended and that clients are given as much choice as possible. 

BACKGROUND FACTS

Prior to the take over by TTN, in the 2024/25 financial year TGS turned over R800,000 and in 2025 were faring to have an even worse year with turnover to be around R520,000 for the 2025/2026 financial year. 

 

Their July 2025 revenue in total was R43,000. In real terms for their store, this is running at a loss. Out of that revenue they have to pay a mountain of expenses which we will present in our financial section of this report.

 

FACT: The Groenewald's are essentially insolvent. They owed mountains of debt and their asking price as displayed below would have simply bought them some time. This is important to remember as their crocodile tears of their financial woes was caused by them years before. 

 

FACT: Our takeover did not just give them a new lease on life but provided them with a gift of an opportunity which they squandered. Period. The numbers do not lie. They are all here for you including bank statements. These type of people are the problem with society in general, they look for any excuse to blame others when their failure is due to their own decisions.

 

FACT: The Tactical Nation doubled the revenue of TGS in the first month. We increased their revenue 400% by month 2 and 3.

 

FACT: The Tactical Nation was so great that they requested no less than 12 times to please hire their daughter.

 

FACT: The Tactical Nation only became their enemy the day we caught them stealing R250,000+ in less than 80 days of our takeover. They are the actual filth that should have been exposed but they have met a group that will ensure they are held accountable. (The above amount excludes stock, training materials and vehicles we provided to the tune of +- R1.4 Million which TGS has not paid).

CONTRACT SIGNED

PLEASE NOTE: The agreement will be listed below with ID numbers redacted purely to be respectful to all parties although they deserve no respect. We will post the agreement AS SOON AS WE GET THE THUMBS UP.

This was the original contract, there were further agreements made between TTN and Eddie Groenewald which involved the launch of Ammo Express.

 

We will therefore split the timelines below as follows: 

04 August 2025 - 23 September 2025

23 September 2025 - 04 December 2025

04 AUGUST 2025 - 23 SEPTEMBER 2025

BRIEF TIMELINE

 

At the end of July 2025, TTN had a meeting with the owners of TGS who wanted to sell for R400,000 outright for 100% of TGS.

 

At the meeting Cobie Groenewald was visibally upset as they were in a financial disaster and HVZ and JCS had a brief private discussion and came out to offer the Groenewalds the following:

 

Not R400,000 for 100% but R500,000 for 70% and the Groenewalds would remain in the business to grow within our group. Our offer was 10 payments of R50,000 per month. 

 

Our group would also restock the store and our plan was to have TGS as our Vaal area base for ALL the brands TTN was bringing into South Africa. TTN saw TGS as a very rough diamond. What we have come to learn, we were right BUT it's biggest issue were the Groenewald's and their itchy fingers.

 

04 AUGUST 2025 the contracts are signed!

FIRST BREACH OF CONTRACT

 

The Groenewald's failed to deliver key paperwork:

 

1. Share certificates within 7 days of signature

 

2. The did not perform the updating of the shareholding with the CIPC.

 

3. They did manage to complete all the necessary director changes but as you will see further below, this lasted less than a month and from 03 October 2025 they further breached the agreement.

 

TTN is working on a larger project and for us an offical record of the Ultimate Beneficial Owner is important. We will give a hint, read the ITAR regulations in the USA.

 

So every Tom, Dick and Harry are entitled to their opinion, BUT we do not run our business on opinion, a sale of shares agreement was signed, there were performance clauses and these were breached within the first week of signature and then further breached as is documented below.

SECOND BREACH OF CONTRACT

 

The Groenewald's failed to disclose, DELIBERATELY, that they had an outstanding debt with the previous owner and were paying him/her a month amount of R5,000. This was only discovered when TTN saw the first months bank statements.

 

a. To date they still could not provide concrete paperwork that disclosed the amount still due to the previous owner.

 

b. They have failed to provide a copy of the agreement in order for TTN to assess if they actually had the rights to sell the business.

 

c. In our view this constitutes wilful misrepresentation the shares were warranted to be unencumbered.

THE TACTICAL NATION WANTED TO CANCEL

VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE

 

These Groenewald's are habitual liars that they literally forget half the nonsense they speak. During the last week of August to first week of September 2025, Eddie had approached JCS and they continued to discuss launching the transport division of the business. 

 

Eddie wanted to focus on this side of the business and it needed obvious capital investment and THIS is the crucial point:

 

TTN was asked to invest to launch this immediately instead of waiting for 2026 when this was orignially planned for. 

 

This is business not tiddly winks, if TTN was expected to invest to launch this then we wanted to negotiate the payment terms of the original agreement. This is where they choose, deliberately, to mislead EVERYONE. DO NOT forget that at this time we also had learnt that they owed money to the previous owner of the business as was already dealt with earlier. 

 

The following was agreed:

 

FACT: Eddie wanted some money to pay a few expenses. R10,000 was paid as agreed.

 

FACT: TTN would invest in a brand new van for the transport division and Eddie fetched this van personally from Ford Sandton on 02 October 2025. R650,000 Ford Custom Transit.

 

FACT: Eddie required TTN to hire his wife Cobie for an agreed amount of R15,000 per month. Done and Paid.

 

FACT: Eddie failed to disclose or inform his wife about the above agreement and so on 20 September 2025 Cobie has a ridiculous outburst.

 

On 20 September 2025, Cobie started moaning about their payment and HVZ made our position clear in an email to the Groenewald's AND their response is actual evidence of their breach of contract. They admitted on email and this will be made available in due course.

 

JCS as the CEO made the decision, after already having dealt with lunatics at Marksman Arms, to walk away and let The Gun Safe die an immediate death.

QUICK INTERLUDE

FACT: At this time we had already delivered close to a million in stock, had hired a store manager and were already planning the complete revamp of the store including aquiring a larger space to extend the shooting range. 

 

FACT: Under TTN management TGS double its revenue in our first full month.

 

FACT: The Tactical Nation as the majority shareholder had STILL not received the documents from the Groenewald's as per Section 7 nor had they provided the agreement with the previous owner who they owed money to. (The fraudulent addition of Cobie as a Director comes later)

 

FACT: The Tactical Nation is under no obligation to perform under the contract and made the Groenewald's aware of this.

 

RIGHT HERE IS THEIR OPPORTUNITY TO GET OUT.

 

DID THEY? NO.

 

WHY? Because TTN was brilliant, had delivered and during this period had already doubled the turnover and our continued investment would see us QUADRUPLE the turnover of the store in our second month.

 

TTN only became their enemy when they were caught stealing, failed to provide our paperwork, failed to disclose their outstanding debt to the previous owner, fraudulently adding Cobie as a Director and fraudulently applied for loans in the name of the company without our consent or knowledge. PERIOD.

COBIE OUTBURST CONTINUED

After Cobie's outburst on 20 September 2025 JCS informed Cobie and Eddie that TTN would fetch all the stock, equipment and move Michael the store manager and cancel the agreement.

After hearing JCS was cancelling the agreement, Eddie called and said the following:

 

"Im not cancelling any agreement with you, I dont want to walk away, we are with you end of story and I am here to be involved with everything you planning. I make the decisions on our side of TGS"

 

JCS, HVZ and TTN were quite prepared to walk away but it was Eddie who salvaged this scenario with JCS.

 

On 22 September 2025 Cobie sent a Whatsapp apologising to JCS. 

 

On 23 September 2025 Eddie and JCS agreed to move forward with their new payment terms and TTN immediately performed the rest of their obligations. 

 

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

 

In conclusion it shows in black and white with irrefutable evidence that the Groenewald's were presented an opportunity to get out of the contract even though they were the parties who were in breach and remain in breach. FACT.

 

    This rebukes all their apparent versions mentioned to the media and on various groups.

 

THIS IS SUBSTANTIATED FACT AND TRUTH NOT BULLSHIT FROM HABITUAL LIARS. 

EVIDENCE SUPPORTING ALL THE ABOVE

24 SEPTEMBER 2025 - 04 DECEMBER 2025

THIRD BREACH OF CONTRACT

 

The skullduggery that OBVIOUSLY was not mentioned in the 15 min of lies in the Gutter Media was that Cobie Groenewald and Eddie Groenewald committed ACTUAL fraud not unsubstantiated nonsense they tried to spin against the owners of The Tactical Nation Group.

 

The more important factor is that we have clients who PAID the Groenewalds and have not received their firearms. They spent the money. We have clients who have paid the Groenewalds for training. They spent the money. They have not paid the training team they have a signed MOU with in Shoot Smart Academy. 

 

We cannot resolve and assist these clients until such time as we regain control of the The Gun Safe and this begins in earnest now.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

 

1. We have to be very careful on what we post on this breach because even though THEY THINK they got off the criminal case, they never found out WHY and we will expose this in the coming weeks but as of 23 April 2026 this case is open and this time the Senior Prosecutor is being hand delivered the evidence from our attorneys.

 

So we will be sticking with public records and a brief statement as it speaks for itself really.

 

2. We opened a case at SAPS Sasolburg where clear evidence was provided. 

 

3. The Senior Prosecutor at Sasolburg Magistrates Court a Mrs VDM was not provided all the evidence and withdrew the case citing that this was a civil dispute however on meeting with JCS and with Walter Pete as witness it became clear that the NPA had not been provided all the evidence. 

 

4. It was confirmed in that meeting that SAPS Sasolburg was already under investigation for corruption. 

 

5. The NPA requested that we meet with our attorney and compile a detailed file of our evidence and re-open the case which is exactly what we will be doing. 

 

QUICK FACTS:

 

02 OCTOBER 2025 

MARTHA GROENEWALD (Cobie) BECOMES A DIRECTOR OF EDCO SERVICES (PTY) LTD

But where is:

 

• Shareholders resolution appointing her as a Director?
• Directors resolution where HVZ signature is present?
• The OTP messages from CIPC where the Directors confirm their approval of this change?

 

PLEASE NOTE:

 

The reason why the CIPC has been named as respondent in our summons is because the addition of Cobie as a Director was done by bypassing the OTP system on the CIPC which means, in our opinion, she must have bribed an official or paid someone who knew an official inside of the CIPC.

 

If you make changes on a company, all directors are alerted via an sms and / or email and you are required to insert this OTP and this acts as your approval and that you are aware of this change. 

 

This is why we are unaware of what Cobie did until the 4th December 2025.

 

We did send a director objection but the CIPC is actually pretty clueless about the law. We have to name them in the lawsuit in order to hold them to account for alleged corruption.

 

Read on because this day got better for Cobie....or so she thinks.

COBIE LOVES THE CHEDDAR!

THE REAL REASON SHE HAD TO BE ADDED AS A DIRECTOR

On the morning of the 02 October 2025 Cobie had applied for a loan from iKhoka Card Payment services in the name of our company Edco Services (Pty) Ltd t/a The Gun Safe (TGS).

 

The loan was declined in the morning of 02 October 2025 because she had no authority as she was not a Director. Cobie and Eddie went to work to change the companies board of directors and low and behold by that afternoon, on 02 October 2025, Cobie was a Director.  She then reapplied and iKhoka approved the iKhoka Advance of R30,000 on 03 October 2025. This was paid into the company bank account of TGS and then misapproproated from the company bank account almost immediately.

 

We have provided our initial email objection to both the CIPC and iKhoka below. The responses from the CIPC are frightening which shows their complete lack of knowledge of the Companies Act. Once this is in court we will release these the same morning but it should scare business investors.  

 

The complete lack of response from iKhoka is damning but they will have their time in court with us too. We have something special planned. 

 

WE HAVE TO ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS:

 

1. Surely Cobie had not paid off another official in iKhoka to bypass the need to provide resolutions approving the loan?

2.How did a financial institution approve loans without the consent of a Director who if they failed to pay he could be held liable?

3. Did they forge signatures?

4. Why has iKhoka not provided the entire application file to a Director who is legally entitled to investigate this?

 

We will get to the bottom of this, we will expose this and we will hold them ALL to account. PERIOD.

TTN IS GOOD ENOUGH TO HIRE THEIR DAUGHTER?

 

Throughout our experience with the Groenewalds we were constantly asked to hire their daughter Angelique Schutte and they wanted their grand daughter to possibly work in the store too. 

 

She signed her employment contract in the last week of November 2025, Cobie as the witness too. 

 

Obviously a week later this entire drama kicked off but we honour our agreements and we were quite prepared to move forward with employing Angelique but she decided to join the leeches and attempt to mock us. 

 

On her start date, 05 January 2026, she sent a message of where she must report to work. You can see our reply below.

NOW ASK YOURSELF A QUESTION

If TTN was so bad, if you felt JCS was so bad and HVZ was a proxy puppet why would you promote, beg and ask this same company and its management to hire your daughter?

 

Either you a complete failure as a parent and mentally unstable

You are lying to the media to suit your agenda and deflect attention from your own behaviour.
